SUMMARY:Madhya Pradesh Leads India’s Wellness Revolution – Malwanchal University Proud to Be a Partner in Progress 05th June\, 2025
DESCRIPTION:The first-ever Spiritual and Wellness Summit\, held in Ujjain on the occasion of World Environment Day\, marked a pivotal moment in Madhya Pradesh’s journey to becoming the Wellness Capital of India. Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary initiatives “Heal India” and LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment)\, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the state’s commitment to holistic living\, sustainability\, and wellness innovation. In his address\, Dr. Yadav described the summit as a transformational initiative that brings together policy\, investment\, spirituality\, and social welfare. With investment proposals exceeding ₹1950 crore and 13 one-on-one discussions with key wellness and hospitality stakeholders\, the summit clearly demonstrated Madhya Pradesh’s readiness to lead India’s wellness mission globally. \nUjjain\, already known as the spiritual capital of Madhya Pradesh\, is now poised to become a global center for wellness\, with integrated approaches involving Ayurveda\, yoga\, and spiritual practices. Fourteen prominent institutions from across the country proposed investments totaling ₹1929 crore\, aiming to establish world-class wellness centers in cities like Ujjain and Omkareshwar. Among them\, industrialist and Chairman of Amaltas Group\, Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria\, pledged a major investment of ₹450 crore\, reinforcing the private sector’s trust in the government’s forward-thinking policies. Spiritual leader Swami Chidanand Saraswati of Parmarth Niketan\, Rishikesh\, remarked that India must now be seen through its own lens—and that cities like Ujjain reflect the country’s cultural and spiritual core. \nThe Government of Madhya Pradesh has introduced a host of investor-friendly initiatives under its new tourism policy. These include digitized processes for opening wellness resorts and centers\, capital subsidies of 15–30% for investments up to ₹90 crore\, and land allotments in key locations including Ujjain\, Indore\, Omkareshwar\, and Khajuraho. The state has identified 20 high-potential wellness project sites across its tourism properties. Malwanchal University stands aligned with this visionary movement\, committed to contributing through its educational\, research\, and healthcare excellence in wellness sciences\, Ayurveda\, and sustainable development. \n
