DESCRIPTION:Malwanchal University organized a soulful Guru Purnima celebration at the IIDS Auditorium to honor the timeless role of teachers in shaping lives. The event commenced with a Saraswati Puja\, where students and faculty members came together to seek the blessings of the Goddess of Knowledge. The atmosphere was filled with reverence and gratitude as students offered prayers and took blessings from their teachers\, expressing heartfelt respect. This celebration beautifully reinforced the spiritual foundation of learning and the cultural ethos upheld by the university. \nAddressing the gathering\, Vice Chancellor Dr. Sanjeev Narang emphasized that a Guru is revered as equal to God in Indian tradition. He urged students to be disciplined\, respectful\, and devoted to their mentors\, just like the ideal student Eklavya. Registrar Dr. Lokeshwar Singh Jodhana highlighted the Guru’s role in removing the darkness of ignorance\, saying that reflection\, contemplation\, and consistent learning are key to acquiring true wisdom. The event served as a reminder of the need for value-based education and cultural grounding from an early stage in life — a principle actively promoted at Index Medical College and its allied institutions. \nThe celebration was graced by senior dignitaries including Dean Index Medical College Dr. G. S. Patel\, Additional Director Dr. R. C. Yadav\, Deputy Registrar Dr. Rajendra Singh\, Dr. Rajiv Srivastava\, and Dr. S. K. Nirala. Deans and faculty from all constituent colleges of Malwanchal University were present. The university\, under the visionary leadership of Suresh Singh Bhadoria\, continues to inspire future generations through excellence in education and character-building. Today\, Malwanchal University is proud to be recognized among the top universities in Indore\, with its institutions consistently ranked among the best colleges across Central India.
