In this ceremony\, Chairman of Index Group\, Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria was felicitated with certification and memento by Madhya Pradesh Hon’ble Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra and Indore City Collector Mr. Manish Singh. \nThis honour was especially bestowed on Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria for establishing the largest modern oxygen plant of Indore in Index Hospital during the Corona period by Hon’ble Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra and Collector Mr. Manish Singh\, IG Mr. Harinarayan Chari Mishra among other dignitaries also graced the occasion. \nDean of Index Medical College Dr. G.S. Patel\, Chief Coordinator COVID Dr. Deepti Singh Hada\, Dr. Rajendra Singh and Chairman Office Coordinator Mr. Yashvardhan Sharma were also present in this event. \n

SUMMARY:Independence Day – Nayandeep (Freedom from Cataract Blindness) Project Inaugurated        15th August\, 2021
DESCRIPTION:The 75th Indian Independence Day was celebrated with immense enthusiasm. This day has special importance and a sense of pride among all Indians. The hoisting of the Tricolour Indian National Flag was done in the presence of students and staff of Index Group of Institutions\, Malwanchal University. \nOn the auspicious occasion of Independence Day\, “Nayandeep project”aimed at meaning ‘Freedom from Cataract Blindness’ was inauguratedin Index Medical College\, Hospital and Research Center. On this occasion\, Dr. Vandana Telgote (Professor & Head\, Department of Ophthalmology) welcomed all the guests and Dr. Sudhir Mahashabde (Director\, Dept of Ophthalmology) explained in detail about the project ‘Nayandeep”. \nCataract is a disease that may affect almost anyone with advancing age. If this disease is not treated timely\, it may lead to blindness. \nThe following dignitaries graced the inaugural ceremony of “Nayandeep” Project:\nShri Suresh Singh Bhadoria (Chairman\, Index Group of Institutions)\nShri Mayank raj Singh Bhadoria (Vice-Chairman\, Index Group of Institutions)\nDr G S Patel (Dean\,Index Medical College\, Hospital & Research Center)\nDr Vandana Telgote (Professor & Head\, Dept of Ophthalmology)\nDr Sudhir Mahashabde (Director\, Dept of Ophthalmology)\nDr K K Saxena (Ex-Medical Superintendent\, Index Hospital)\nDr B K Agarwal (PG Director\, Index Medical College)\nDr Satish Karandikar (Dean\, Index Institute of Dental Sciences)\nDr Reshma Khurana (Principal\, Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences)\nDr Javed Khan Pathan (Principal\, Department of Pharmacy)\nDr Sonali Mittal (Ophthalmologist)\nDr Supriya Mushriff (Associate Professor\, Dept of Ophthalmology)\nDr Swati Saxena (Ophthalmologist)\nDr Sudhir Mahashabde explained that cataract treatment is possible\, but even today\, due to lack of awareness and lack of good health facilities in rural areas\, many people are unable to get timely treatment.
