SUMMARY:Malwanchal University Leads the Message of a Drug-Free Future at Youth Walk 2026
DESCRIPTION:Malwanchal University proudly participated in Youth Walk 2026\, a major social awareness initiative held in Indore on 08 February 2026\, centered around the theme “Say No to Drugs\, Say Yes to Life.” The event was organized with the objective of educating youth and the wider community about the serious consequences of drug abuse while encouraging a healthy\, disciplined\, and responsible lifestyle. The walk saw enthusiastic participation from students\, faculty members\, and senior university officials\, highlighting the university’s strong commitment to youth empowerment\, wellness\, and social responsibility. Through its active involvement\, Malwanchal University once again demonstrated its role as an institution dedicated to holistic education and nation-building. \nThe university made a remarkable impact with the participation of 750+ students from various institutes\, supported by 130+ faculty members\, positioning Malwanchal University among the leading contributors to the event. \nThe university delegation was led by Vice Chancellor Dr. Sanjeev Narang\, along with Additional Director (Planning & Administration) Dr. R. C. Yadav\, Deputy Registrar Dr. Rajendra Singh\, CAO\, Index Medical College Mr. Dheeraj Jaiswal\, Director Research Dr. Lily Ganju\, Assistant Registrar Dr. Pooja Vishwakarma\, and Assistant Registrar Dr. Deepshikha Vinayak. The event was further graced by the presence of Director\, Index Nursing College Mr. Deepak Mishra\, Director Mr. Abhijeet Tayde\, Principal\, Index Nursing College Dr. Smriti G. Solomon\, Principal\, Index Ayurvedic College Hospital and Research Centre Dr. Prajakta Tomar\, Principal\, Index Institute of Management Arts and Sciences Dr. Ajay Mishra\, Dean\, Index Institute of Law Dr. S. K. Nirala\, and HOD\, Index Institute of Agricultural Sciences Dr. Shivam Verma\, whose participation encouraged and inspired students. \nThe Youth Walk 2026 emerged as a meaningful platform to spread awareness about mental and physical well-being\, responsible decision-making\, and the importance of a drug-free society. The presence of university leadership alongside students conveyed a powerful message that drug abuse prevention is a shared responsibility of educational institutions\, educators\, and society at large. Malwanchal University’s active participation reaffirmed its dedication to nurturing socially conscious\, disciplined\, and responsible citizens\, while strengthening community bonding and promoting positive values among the youth.

SUMMARY:Malwanchal University Signs Historic MoU with S-VYASA University for Holistic Healthcare Advancement
DESCRIPTION:Malwanchal University\, Indore\, has marked a significant milestone in the fields of higher education and healthcare by signing a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with S-VYASA University (Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana)\, Bengaluru. This strategic collaboration aims to promote holistic health solutions through Ayurveda\, Naturopathy\, Yoga\, and Meditation\, ensuring that lifestyle-based healthcare becomes accessible to every section of society. The partnership reflects the University’s commitment to integrating traditional Indian knowledge systems with modern research and clinical practice to address the growing burden of lifestyle-related diseases. \nA five-member delegation from Malwanchal University visited Bengaluru for the formal signing ceremony. The delegation included Dr. Tapesh Kumar Dubey (Director – International Relations & Collaboration)\, Dr. Lily Ganju (Director – Research)\, Dr. Swati Prashant (Medical Superintendent)\, Dr. Reshma Khurana (Principal – Paramedical)\, and Dr. Prajakta Tomar (Principal – Ayurveda). Under this MoU\, both institutions will collaborate in joint research projects\, academic exchange programs\, professional training\, clinical practices\, and wellness initiatives. The focus will be on providing comprehensive solutions for conditions such as diabetes\, hypertension\, stress\, obesity\, and mental health challenges through integrative and preventive healthcare approaches. \nPadma Shri Dr. H. R. Nagendra\, Founder of S-VYASA and a globally respected yoga scholar\, described the agreement as the beginning of a historic chapter dedicated to human welfare. He emphasized the transformative role of yoga\, meditation\, and holistic therapies in addressing modern health concerns. Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria\, President of Mayank Welfare Foundation\, called the partnership a benchmark initiative for Madhya Pradesh\, highlighting that citizens will now have access to integrated wellness services under one platform. Mr. Mayank Raj Singh Bhadoria\, Vice Chairman\, further stated that the MoU will strengthen academic and research collaboration while establishing new standards in community health\, preventive healthcare\, and holistic lifestyle transformation across the region.
