DESCRIPTION:A two-days Continued Medical Education Conference is was organized on COVID-19 by Index Medical College\, Hopsital & Research Center (IMCHRC)\, Malwanchal University\, Indore. \nPadmashriDr. Saroj Chudamani Gopal inaugurated the function by appearing through virtual mode from New Delhi. Dr. Saroj Chudamani\, who has been the first female Vice-Chancellor of King George Medical University\, Lucknow\, has also been awarded with several National and International awards in her career. Dr. Rajesh Pandey (Delhi)\, Dr. Sanjay Dixit (Dean- MGM Medical College\, Indore)\, Dr. Salil Bhargava (MGM Medical College\, Indore)\, Dr. Sharad Thora (Amaltas Institute of Medical Sciences\, Dewas) appeared and expressed their important views. \nThe conference was graced by the presence of by Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria\, Chairman\, Index Group of Institutions. \nAt the beginning of the inaugural session Dr. G.S. Patel\, Dean\, IMCHRC gave a brief introduction. During the session\, experts spoke on better understanding\, avoiding and fighting the new wave of COVID-19. Realizing the importance of the subject\, more than 250 doctors from Indore and from other parts of the country registered their presence. \nOn the first day of this conference\, Dr. V.K. Arora (Profesor& Head\, PSM\, IMCHRC)\, Dr. Hemant Gautam (New Delhi)\, Dr. Nikhil Moorchung (Bangalore)\, Dr. Ravi Doshi (SAIMS\, Indore)\, Dr.S.P.Dhaneria (Raipur) put forward their inputs. Dr. Taneja (MGM) was present as the observer. Dr. Bharat Chhaparwal\, Former Vice-Chancellor\, DAVV\, Indore was also present. \nDr. V.K. Arora gave a live example of what precautions should be taken by all Corona Warriors. Dr. Hemant Gautam explained about the new developments and researches studies with this regard. Dr. G.S. Patel talked about the diagnosis and its parameters about the new wave of COVID. Dr. Ravi Doshi explained how to manage COVID patients. Dr. S.P. Dhaneria explained about the advantages and disadvantages related to medicines. \nThe diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 pandemic and the awareness\, understanding and ability to deal with such adverse situations in the future should be developed among all medical people. Taking it one step further with the same spirit\, the National Academy of Medical Sciences held this academic session under the aegis of the Government of India. \nThe safety parameters of COVID-19 were followed during the training workshop and the entire study material was provided in an environment friendly electronic manner. \nDr. Rajesh Pandey told that what is the effect of other diseases on Covid-19 and what measures should we take to diagnose it. Dr. Sanjay Dixit addressed various curiosities about vaccination. Dr. Salil Bhargava explained the problems occurring after the corona and the solutions for all those problems. Dr. Sharad Thora explained in detail about the effects of corona on children. DESCRIPTION:– International Yoga Day was celebrated in Malwanchal University and Index Group of Institutions campus organized by Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences Institution with Yoga Asanas demonstrations by more than 150 Physiotherapy and Paramedical students on International Yoga Day. \nMr. Suresh Singh Bhadoria\, Chairman of Index Group of Institutions and the Vice-Chancellor of Malwanchal University\, Mr. NK Tripathi were the Chief Guests of this program. More than 150 students demonstrated Yogasanas with astounding synchronization in this Yoga practice program. \nIn this Yoga celebration program\, Mr.Suresh Singh Bhadoria highlighted that regular practice of yoga helps to increase concentration power in studies. Mr. NK Tripathi also boosted the morale of all the students and staff present on the occasion. During this mesmerizing program\, Tehsildar Ms. Pallavi Puranic\, Guest of Honour said\, “It is very important to include yoga in ones daily routine to stay healthy in present times. Health should be our prime priority because a healthy mind dwells in a healthy body”. \nThis year’s theme of International Yoga Day was ‘Yoga for Wellbeing\, Yoga for Health’. With the objective of providing an insight of better health\, this program was organised. The program was graced by Mr. Mayankraj Singh Bhadoria (Vice-Chairman of Index Group)\, Dr. G.S. The program was anchored by Dr.Praneeta Sharma. \nDr. Reshma Khurana said\, “Yogasanas were demonstrated and practiced by our students on this day. This programme mainly included Surya Namaskar\, Shirshasan\, Vajrasana\, Vrikshasana\, Tadasana\, Chakrasana and Anjaney asana”. She further added\, “Yoga is very important for all of us. Practising Yoga not only energizes us and makes us fit but also gives us a sense of wellbeing and increases our immunity\, especially in the present COVID times. The speakers for the sessions were Dr. Jaideep Singh Chauhan (Consulting Maxillofacial Surgeon & Project Director for the Smile Train\, CHL Hospitals) and Dr. B. Srinivasan (MDS Prosthodontics Post Graduate Fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics\, University Medical Centre\, Groningen\,Netherlands). This webinar focused mainly on the topics of Post Covid Mucormycosis of Maxillofacial Region & Prosthetic management of defects due toMucormycosis. It was a knowledgeablesession.The diagnosis of Mucormycosis cases were discussed to the point of prosthetic rehabilitation. SUMMARY:Oxygen Plant Inauguration    03rd July\, 2021
DESCRIPTION:Honourable Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan inaugurated the new oxygen plant at Index Hospital through online mode from Abhay Prashal Sports Academy premises. Honourable Chief Minister praised Index Hospital for providing excellent health care service during these difficult COVID-19 times and assured that the Government will always support Index Hospital for their good work. \nThe Ultra-Modern oxygen plant at Index Hospital can produce 600 jumbo oxygen cylinders per day. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Mr. Suresh Singh Bhadoria (Chairman\, Index Group of Institutions\, Malwanchal University)\, Mr. Mayankraj Singh Bhadoria (Vice-Chairman)\, doctors and other health workers of Index Hospital. The corona guidelines were strictly followed in the inaugural ceremony. \nIndex Hospital already had 11 Ton Liquid Plant\, 300 Jumbo Cylinder PSA Generator and 2 Dura Liquid Tankers. Now with this new modern Oxygen Plant Index Hospital is in a better position to cater to more demand of oxygen for the health care of patients. \nCapt. A.K. Jana (Oxygen Plant Incharge & Incharge of Central Research Lab of Index Medical College and Hospital) contributed immensely for the installation of this new oxygen plant. This oxygen plant provides pure oxygen up to 97.7%. It is a 100% automatic plant. Its biggest feature is that whenever there is a decrease in the purity of oxygen\, it signals through a buzzer. The purity of oxygen can be easily monitored in this machinery. Whenever there is a decrease in the purity of oxygen\, it can be improved immediately. This plant runs non-stop 24×7\, with both the units producing 600 jumbo oxygen cylinders per day. DESCRIPTION:The Orientation Programme for the academic year 2021-22 began after the lamp lighting by Shri NK Tripathi (Vice-Chancellor\, Malwanchal University)\, Dr. GS Patel (Dean\, Index Medical College)\, Dr. BK Agrawal (PG Director\, Index Medical College\, Hospital and Research Center)\, Mrs. Chitra Khirwadkar (Deputy Director\, Administration)\, Shri RC Yadav (Additional Director\, Administration and Student Welfare) and Dr. Reshma Khurana (Principal\, Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences). \nShri NK Tripathi (Vice-Chancellor\, Malwanchal University) addressed the Orientation Programme of new students of Paramedical Courses of Malwanchal University. The Orientation Programme was organized under the leadership of Dr. Reshma Khurana (Principal\, Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences). Dr. GS Patel (Dean\, Index Medical College\, Hospital and Research Center) and Dr. Satish Karandikar (Dean\, Index Institute of Dental Sciences) graced the occasion with their presence. \nShri NK Tripathi (Vice-Chancellor\, Malwanchal University) emphasized on the vital role played by the physiotherapists and the laboratory technicians in medical health services. He told the students to take pride in their chosen professional courses. He exhorted the students to use their energy of youth for the development of their overall personality. Students come with diverse thoughts\, backgrounds and perceptions. Hence\, it is important to help them adjust in the new environment and inculcate the ethos of the institution with a sense of larger purpose. \nDr GS Patel (Dean\, Index Medical College) mentioned about the importance of core values like dedication and discipline. He also laid stress upon the importance of transcending knowledge into application for the betterment of the society. Having given the warm welcome to the students\, he appealed the students to utilize maximum resources to the most of their capacity for academic enhancement. \nDr. Reshma Khurana (Principal\, Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences) addressed the students and enlightened them to enhance their familiarity with the teaching faculty members\, Index Campus\, its facilities and a plethora of curricular and extra-curricular activities of the institution. She extended her gratitude to Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria (Chairman\, Index Group of Institutions) for his unstinting support. \nMrs. Chitra Khirwadkar (Deputy Director\, Administration) motivated the students and mentioned the importance of human values. WHO announced to celebrate World Cancer Day on 4th February every year to aware people about the dangers of disease. \nIn commemoration of World Cancer Day\, The Dept. of Public Health Dentistry of Index Institute Of Dental Sciences\,Indore organised an event for Patient Education & Patient Counselling. \nThe event intended to spread awareness & prevention of cancer to incorporate a healthier lifestyle. \nChairman of Index group Of Institutes Sri Suresh Singh Bhadoria & Vice Chairman Mayankraj Singh Bhadoria apreciated staff & students for the success of campaign and hoped for such event to bring a healthy change in society. \nThe Chief guest for event was Dr. Rashi Yadav\, Oral & Maxillofacial surgeon \,Govt. DESCRIPTION:अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के उपलक्ष्य पर मालवांचल विश्वविद्यालय के इंडेक्स इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ डेंटल साइंसेज में किया गया विशेष कार्यक्रम का आयोजन \nमालवांचल विश्वविद्यालय में महिला दिवस का आयोजन\, सम्मानित अतिथि रही जेल अधीक्षक श्रीमती अलका सोनकर एवं एसडीएम श्रीमती विशाखा देशमुख \nअंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस हर साल 8 मार्च को दुनियाभर में मनाया जाता है। यह दिन महिलाओं को सम्मान देने के उद्देश्य से सेलिब्रेट किया जाता है। इसी उत्सव के अंतर्गत अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में मालवांचल विश्वविद्यालय के इंडेक्स इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ डेंटल साइंसेज में एक विशेष कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में श्रीमती अलका सोनकर (जेल अधीक्षक- सेंट्रल जेल) एवं विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में श्रीमती विशाखा देशमुख (एसडीएम\, इंदौर) उपस्थित थी। सम्मानित अतिथियों की उपस्थिति से कार्यक्रम में नई उमंग और सकारात्मकता का संचार हुआ। इस अवसर पर इंडेक्स ग्रुप के चेयरमैन श्री सुरेश सिंह भदौरिया\, डायरेक्टर आर. एस. राणावत\, एडिशनल डायरेक्टर श्री आर. सी. यादव\, डॉ. जी. एस. पटेल (डीन\, इंडेक्स मेडिकल कॉलेज)\, डॉ दीप्ती सिंह हाड़ा (सैटेलाइट क्लिनिक- सेंट्रल जेल)\, डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ कंज़रवेटिव एंड एंडोडोंटिक्स की एचओडी डॉ सुपर्णा गांगुली\, डॉ सतीश करंदीकर\, डॉ ममता सिंह (प्रोफेसर\, डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ ओरल सर्जरी) ने भी अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज करवाई । \nश्रीमती अलका सोनकर (जेल अधीक्षक- सेंट्रल जेल) मध्य प्रदेश की प्रथम महिला जेल सुपरिटेंडेंट है। उन्होंने कहा कि “महिलाओं को अपनी शक्ति को पहचानने की आवश्यकता है। वर्तमान में महिला सशक्तिकरण का समय है। आज हम लोग अपने रास्ते से भटकते जा रहे हैं। महिलाओं को अपने अधिकारों को पहचान कर देश सेवा में भाग लेना होगा।” \nविशिष्ट अतिथि श्रीमती विशाखा देशमुख (एसडीएम\, इंदौर) ने कहा कि “भारतीय संस्कृति में सदैव महिला को गौरवमयी स्थान मिला है। महिलाओं को चाहिए कि वे अपने व्यक्तित्व को पहचान कर अपनी भागीदारी को सुनिश्चित कर सके।” \nमालवांचल विश्वविद्यालय के इंडेक्स इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ डेंटल साइंसेज के सफल कार्यक्रम का कोऑर्डिनेशन डॉ पूनम तोमर राणा ने किया। साथ ही विशेष उपस्थिति में डॉ ममता सिंह (प्रोफेसर\, डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ ओरल सर्जरी) भी मौजूद थी। इस अवसर स्टूडेंट्स\, फैकल्टी एवं अन्य स्टाफ के सदस्य भी उपस्थित थे। कार्यक्रम की समाप्ति पर मुख्य अतिथि श्रीमती अलका सोनकर एवं श्रीमती विशाखा देशमुख और डॉ ममता सिंह एवं डॉ सुपर्णा गांगुली ने स्व. डॉ हेमानी सुखीजा की स्मृति में पौधारोपण किया।
