SUMMARY:Malwanchal Yoga Mahotsav 2026 Sets World Record with Participation of Over 35\,000 Yoga Enthusiasts
DESCRIPTION:Malwanchal University\, Amaltas University\, and the Index and Amaltas Group of Institutions successfully organized the grand Malwanchal Yoga Mahotsav 2026 at the Index Campus\, Nemawar Road\, Indore\, creating a historic world record with the participation of more than 35\,000 individuals in a collective yoga session. The event\, conducted as part of the Ministry of AYUSH’s nationwide Yoga Mahotsav and Countdown initiatives for International Day of Yoga 2026\, witnessed registrations from more than 51\,000 participants. Students from various institutions\, citizens from urban and rural areas\, social organizations\, and yoga enthusiasts joined the event\, making it one of the largest yoga gatherings in the country. The program also received a special message from Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the Ministry of AYUSH\, recognizing the significance of the initiative in promoting yoga and holistic well-being. \nThe historic event was graced by Padma Shri Dr. H.R. Nagendra\, Chancellor of S-VYASA University\, Bengaluru and yoga mentor to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi\, as the Chief Guest.
