SUMMARY:Neocon Conference 2024 20th September\, 2024
DESCRIPTION:A three-day Neocon Conference organized by Index Medical College Hospital & Research Center\, Malwanchal University\, kicked off with various programs. The main workshop was held at the Index College auditorium under the joint auspices of the Indore Academy of Pediatrics and the National Neonatology Forum. This workshop focused on Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) as part of the 5th Central Zone and MP State Neocon. \nOver 50 participants from across the country attended the workshop at Index College\, including pediatricians from Hyderabad\, Puducherry\, Bhopal\, Gwalior\, and other cities. These experts shared knowledge about advanced neonatal resuscitation techniques\, including NRP\, and other relevant topics. Advanced neonatal resuscitation is a life-saving technique that can help prevent complications and risks faced by newborns. Through this technique\, neonatal mortality rates can be significantly reduced. \nThe Neocon conference aims to bring together experts and the latest techniques in one place. Dr. Anuradha Jain\, the workshop coordinator and head of the college’s pediatrics department\, explained that new techniques like NRP can be instrumental in reducing neonatal mortality rates. Breathing difficulties experienced by newborns immediately after birth can be addressed using specialized equipment. \nDr. Hemabindu Singh from Hyderabad emphasized that the first minute can be a golden minute for a newborn. The primary goal of their workshop is to provide better training to the next generation of doctors. The government of India and all medical practitioners have a responsibility to minimize neonatal mortality rates.
