The Index Institute of Management Arts and Sciences, Malwanchal University, recently organized its Diksharambh ceremony to warmly welcome the new batch of students. The event was not only an academic orientation but also a cultural and value-driven initiation into higher education. New entrants were welcomed with a traditional tilak, symbolizing blessings and good wishes for their academic journey. Registrar Dr. Lokeshwar Singh Jodhana emphasized the importance of going beyond bookish knowledge to develop practical skills, creativity, and social responsibility. He highlighted how the National Education Policy (NEP) is employment-oriented, encouraging students to take steps toward self-employment and entrepreneurship. He also appreciated the vision and guidance of Index Group of Institutions Chairman Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria and Vice Chairman Mr. Mayank Raj Singh Bhadoria in creating an ecosystem where students can grow holistically.
Academic Dean Dr. Salil Bhargava, in his address, explained that Diksharambh signifies more than the beginning of an academic journey—it is the foundation of values, discipline, and self-awareness. He urged students to embrace technology and artificial intelligence while staying rooted in ethics and responsibility. Director of the Management College, Mr. Roopesh Verma, shared that discipline and positive thinking are the true keys to success in today’s knowledge-driven era. Principal Dr. Ajay Mishra guided students to utilize the institute’s world-class resources, including the modern library, digital classrooms, advanced laboratories, and research facilities. Further, Dr. Neha Khare, Chairperson of the Code of Conduct Committee, familiarized students with the university’s rules, code of ethics, and moral responsibilities, ensuring that they understand the culture of Malwanchal University and the Index Group of Institutions.
The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Index Group of Institutions Chairman Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria and Vice Chairman Mr. Mayank Raj Singh Bhadoria, who extended heartfelt blessings and best wishes to the new students. Malwanchal University Vice Chancellor Dr. Sanjeev Narang also motivated students to aim for excellence in both academics and personal growth.
