The event, inaugurated by the esteemed Chairman of Vidyasagar School, aimed to encourage voluntary blood donation and raise awareness about its life-saving potential. A total of 12 BMLT Intern students from our department actively participated in the event, contributing significantly to its success and highlighting the importance of community involvement in healthcare.<br \/><br \/>The donation process was meticulously organized, with volunteers first undergoing a registration process to record their personal details and medical history for eligibility assessment. Trained phlebotomists then collected the blood using sterile and safe techniques. Our students from the IDOPT program efficiently assisted throughout the process, ensuring everything was conducted with the highest standards of professionalism. After donating, volunteers were provided with refreshments and ample time to rest in the post-donation area, ensuring their recovery. In total, 55 blood donations were made during the camp, all of which were successfully collected by our students.<br \/><br \/>This blood donation camp not only helped in collecting life-saving blood units but also demonstrated the importance of social responsibility in healthcare. Initiatives like these play a crucial role in ensuring a consistent and reliable blood supply for hospitals and healthcare facilities, especially in times of crisis. We express our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants, volunteers, and the honorable Chairman for their support in making this event a success. The Index Department of Paramedical Sciences is proud to have contributed to this noble cause, reinforcing our commitment to community health and
