Observed annually on August 29, this day marks the birth anniversary of the legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand, whose dedication and excellence continue to inspire generations. The celebration aimed to highlight the importance of sports, fitness, and overall well-being among students, encouraging them to lead active and disciplined lives while recognizing the integral role of physical activity in holistic development.<\/p>\n<p>Under the esteemed guidance of Chairman Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria and Vice Chairman Shri Mayank Raj Singh Bhadoria, the department organized a series of engaging sports events, including sprinting, tug of war, and badminton tournaments. Students from the Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences demonstrated exceptional enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the events. The sprinting competition tested endurance and agility, the tug of war emphasized unity and strategy, and the badminton matches showcased precision, coordination, and fair play. Faculty members and event organizers ensured smooth coordination, creating an energetic and encouraging atmosphere that brought together students and staff in the true spirit of sports.<\/p>\n<p>The celebration successfully reinforced the significance of sports as an essential part of education and personal growth. It promoted physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and leadership among students while honoring the rich sporting heritage of the nation. The National Sports Day Celebration 2025 served as a reminder of Major Dhyan Chand\u2019s remarkable legacy and inspired students to pursue excellence beyond academics. Through such initiatives, Malwanchal University continues to uphold its commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals who embody the values of perseverance, unity, and healthy
