The Index Institute of Management Arts and Sciences (IIMAS), a constituent of the Index Group of Institutions, organized a grand celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi from 27th August to 6th September 2025. Coordinated by Assistant Prof. Manshivi Bhadouriya and Assistant Prof. Damini Singh, the 11-day event embodied cultural richness, spiritual devotion, and community participation. Beginning with Ganesh Sthapana, the festival featured a diverse range of activities including Mehndi Competition, Musical Chair, Lemon Race, Sports Events, Dance Competition, Fashion Feast, Rangoli Competition, Matkifodh, Sundarkand Path, and concluded with the traditional Maha Aarti and Visarjan. The celebration witnessed active participation with 121 attendees (100 students and 21 faculty members), reflecting the institute’s dedication to inclusivity, creativity, and the preservation of cultural heritage.
Each day of the celebration was designed to encourage student engagement, foster collaboration, and highlight cultural traditions. Artistic competitions such as dance, rangoli, and fashion provided students with a platform to express their creativity, while sports and fun activities promoted teamwork and camaraderie. The recitation of Sundarkand added a spiritual dimension, offering a moment of collective reflection and devotion. The concluding Maha Aarti and eco-friendly Visarjan symbolized unity, environmental responsibility, and reverence towards tradition. The vision and encouragement of Index Group of Institutions Chairman Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria and Mr. Mayankraj Singh Bhadoria was pivotal in ensuring that the festival not only honored religious traditions but also strengthened the sense of community within the campus.
The Ganesh Chaturthi celebration at IIMAS achieved its objectives of blending devotion with cultural engagement, while also creating a vibrant environment of enthusiasm and unity. Beyond festivities, the event served as an important platform for students to imbibe values of teamwork, respect for tradition, and social harmony. By successfully combining spiritual enrichment with creative expression, the institute once again reinforced its position as a center for holistic development. With the blessings of Lord Ganesha and the continued guidance of Chairman Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria and Mr. Mayankraj Singh Bhadoria, the festival highlighted the enduring commitment of the Index Group of Institutions to foster cultural pride alongside academic excellence.
