Swachhta Pakhwada 2025: Clean Campus, Green Commitment

Index Institute of Management, Arts & Sciences, Malwanchal University, observed Swachhta Pakhwada on 26th September 2025, aligning with the vision of the Government of India’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The initiative aimed to instill the values of cleanliness, hygiene, and social responsibility among students and staff. The program commenced with the Principal Dr Ajay Mishra inspiring address, where he administered the Swachhta pledge to all participants, emphasizing that cleanliness is not just a duty but a way of life. This marked the beginning of a series of impactful activities designed to strengthen the culture of cleanliness within the campus and surrounding community.

The day’s activities included a campus-wide cleanliness drive and a Swachhta rally led by enthusiastic students, spreading awareness about the importance of hygiene and a healthy environment. Different areas of the institution such as classrooms, the library, laboratories, and the canteen were cleaned thoroughly, giving the campus a refreshing and organized look. To engage creativity and encourage participation, poster-making and slogan-writing competitions were also organized, where students showcased their innovative thoughts on cleanliness, sustainability, and community welfare. These activities not only provided a platform for expression but also highlighted the role of youth in driving social change.

The Swachhta Pakhwada concluded with remarkable outcomes. The campus wore a cleaner and greener look, while students developed a strong sense of responsibility and commitment toward maintaining hygiene in their surroundings. The message “Swachhta Hi Seva Hai” echoed throughout the campaign, reinforcing the belief that every small act of cleanliness contributes to national progress. The active involvement of faculty, staff, and students ensured the success of the event, making it a collective effort towards a cleaner society. With such initiatives, Index Institute of Management, Arts & Sciences continues to uphold its commitment to nurturing socially responsible citizens who contribute not only to academic excellence but also to the betterment of the community.
