World Environment Day 2025 – Poster Making Competition at IDOPT
On the occasion of World Environment Day on 5th June 2025, the Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences (IDOPT) organized a Poster Making Competition themed “Putting an End to Plastic Pollution.” This initiative aimed to foster awareness among students regarding the detrimental impacts of plastic pollution on the environment and to inspire the adoption of sustainable alternatives. The competition was open to students across all academic batches and received an enthusiastic response, reflecting the institution’s commitment to environmental stewardship and social responsibility. The competition required participants to conceptualize and produce original posters within a strict one-hour timeframe. Submissions were evaluated on criteria including creativity, originality, thematic relevance, visual appeal, and clarity of the conveyed message. The diverse range of entries demonstrated a profound understanding of the urgent need to mitigate plastic pollution, showcasing innovative ideas to reduce plastic consumption and protect ecological systems. This exercise not only highlighted students’ artistic skills but also reinforced their engagement with critical environmental issues. The event concluded with closing remarks from the organizing committee, expressing gratitude to all participants for their dedication and creativity.
