The Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences, Malwanchal University, celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on August 15, 2025, at the Auditorium of Index Medical College Hospital & Research Centre (IMCHRC). The ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by the Chief Guest, Sachiv and Sarpanch of Khudel, in the esteemed presence of Shri Suresh Singh Ji Bhadoria, Chairman, Index Group of Institutions, and Shri Mayank Raj Singh Bhadoria, Vice Chairman, Index Group of Institutions. They were joined by Dr. G. S. Patel, Dean, IMCHRC, and other dignitaries of the university. The rendition of the national anthem filled the atmosphere with pride, unity, and reverence for the nation. The event served as a heartfelt tribute to the freedom fighters whose sacrifices paved the way for India’s independence.

The celebration featured a vibrant cultural program that beautifully captured the spirit of the day. Students of BPT and BMLT first year presented an impressive dance performance depicting India’s freedom struggle, the triumph of independence, and the nation’s march toward progress. Their well-coordinated and expressive choreography received thunderous applause from the audience. A thought-provoking skit by students from another department highlighted the significance of freedom and the courage of India’s great leaders. The Chief Guest, in his address, emphasized the values of patriotism, unity, and responsibility, urging students to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s development and uphold its democratic ideals.

The event concluded with the distribution of sweets, symbolizing joy and togetherness. The Independence Day celebration not only fostered a sense of national pride among students and faculty but also provided a platform for young talents to express their creativity and gratitude toward the nation. The program at the Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences was a resounding success, reflecting the vision of Chairman Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria and Vice Chairman Shri Mayank Raj Singh Bhadoria to nurture socially responsible and nationally conscious citizens.
