NEXUS 2026 – Where Connections Spark Endless Possibilities

The Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences, Malwanchal University, Indore, successfully organized NEXUS 2026, a grand Sports and Cultural Meet, from 15th to 24th January 2026 at the university campus. The week-long celebration brought together students, faculty members, dignitaries, and alumni on a common platform, fostering unity, creativity, sportsmanship, and cultural harmony. The event commenced with an energetic inaugural ceremony graced by Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria, Chairman, Mayank Welfare Foundation ,Director Administration and Planning Shri R.S. Ranawat, Addl. Director Dr. R.C. Yadav,Vice Chancellor Dr. Sanjeev Narang, Registrar Dr. Lokeshwar Singh Jodhana along with Dr. Reshma Khurana, Principal, IDOPT, and other esteemed guests. The inauguration featured ceremonial bowling, unveiling of the NEXUS banner, and a tournament coin toss, marking the formal launch of the sports events. The Chief Guest highlighted the importance of extracurricular activities in nurturing leadership qualities, teamwork, discipline, and holistic student development.
The initial phase of NEXUS 2026 was dedicated to competitive sports events such as Kabaddi, Cricket, Kho-Kho, and Volleyball, where students demonstrated exceptional athletic skills, strategic thinking, and team spirit. Each match was filled with enthusiasm and healthy competition, creating an inspiring environment across the campus. Faculty members played an active role in motivating and guiding the participants, ensuring fair play and encouragement. Parallel to sports, the cultural segment showcased vibrant student talent through events like Filmy Andaaz, Talent Day, Fun and Fashion Day, and Traditional Day. Activities including dance, music, comedy, fashion shows, rangoli, mehendi, face art, and T-shirt painting allowed students to express creativity while celebrating cultural diversity.
The grand finale of NEXUS 2026, combined with the Candyland Funfair and Fun Games, emerged as the most memorable highlight of the event. Alumni from various batches joined the celebrations, strengthening alumni-student connections and reliving campus memories. The funfair featured colorful stalls, food counters, creative displays, games, and performances, adding vibrancy to the occasion. The closing ceremony was graced by Shri MayankRaj Singh Bhadoria, Vice-Chairman, Mayank Welfare Foundation, who appreciated the collective efforts of students, faculty, and organizers. Awards and certificates were presented to deserving winners, acknowledging excellence and participation. Overall, NEXUS 2026 stood as a powerful reflection of unity, talent, and enthusiasm, perfectly embodying its theme—“Where Connections Spark Endless Possibilities.”
