77th Republic Day Celebration: A Tribute to Unity and Patriotism

The 77th Republic Day of India was celebrated with immense pride and patriotic fervor at Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences, under Malwanchal University, on 26th January 2026. The event commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag by Honorable Chairman Suresh Singh Bhadoria, accompanied by dignitaries and followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The atmosphere was filled with patriotic zeal as faculty members, students, and staff gathered to honor the spirit of the Constitution and celebrate India’s democratic values.

A special highlight of the celebration was the inspiring cultural performance presented by the first-year BPT students of the Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences. Through their vibrant and heartfelt presentation, the students beautifully depicted the ideals of unity, sacrifice, and national pride that form the foundation of the nation. Their performance reflected deep respect for the country’s rich heritage and served as a reminder of the responsibility every citizen carries toward strengthening the nation’s democratic framework. The cultural act was widely appreciated by the audience and added a memorable dimension to the celebration.

The programme was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Karan Singh Shekhawat,Khudel TI along with distinguished university officials, faculty members, and students. Dr. Reshma Khurana, along with the faculty and students of the department, actively participated in the event and contributed to its grand success. The celebration concluded on a note of pride and inspiration, reinforcing the values of discipline, dedication, and national service among the young minds of the institution. The event stood as a reflection of the department’s commitment to nurturing responsible citizens alongside academic excellence.
