International Women’s Day Celebration – “Pehchaan 2026”

The Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences, in collaboration with Index Nursing College and Malwanchal University, celebrated International Women’s Day 2026 under the inspiring theme “Pehchaan 2026” on 7th March 2026 at the prestigious Index Medical College Auditorium. The event was organized to honor and acknowledge the invaluable contribution of women in healthcare, education, and research, while promoting the values of equality, leadership, and empowerment. The grand celebration was graced by the esteemed presence of Honorable Chairman Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria Ji, distinguished university officials, respected faculty members, healthcare professionals, and Dr. Reshma Khurana, Principal, Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences, whose presence added dignity and inspiration to the occasion.

The programme commenced with the traditional ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolizing wisdom, positivity, and enlightenment, followed by inspiring addresses from the dignitaries. The speakers highlighted the significant role of women in shaping society through their dedication, resilience, and achievements across various professional spheres. Special emphasis was laid on the importance of creating equal opportunities and empowering women to excel as leaders and innovators in healthcare and education.
