Youth Walk 2026 – Say No to Drugs, Choose the Right Path
The students of the Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences, under the guidance of Dr. Reshma Khurana, actively participated in Youth Walk 2026 organized at Nehru Stadium on 8th February 2026. The department, functioning under the visionary leadership of Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria, Chairman, Mayank Welfare Foundation, and Mr. Mayankraj Singh Bhadoria, Vice Chairman, Mayank Welfare Foundation, continues to inspire students toward academic excellence and social responsibility. Powered by Team RGS (Rudraksh Golu Shukla), the event was organized to spread awareness against drug abuse with the impactful message, “नशा छोड़ो भविष्य जोड़ो – सनातनी युवा, सशक्त राष्ट्र.” Students enthusiastically carried awareness placards and marched together to advocate for a healthier, drug-free society.
The rally served as a strong platform to encourage youth to adopt discipline, fitness, responsibility, and positive life choices. Under the mentorship of Dr. Reshma Khurana, students demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and commitment toward social awareness initiatives, reflecting the department’s dedication to developing socially conscious healthcare professionals. Addressing the participants, Rudraksh Shukla delivered an inspiring message emphasizing the need for self-discipline and wise decisions in shaping a brighter future. His motivational words encouraged students to become ambassadors of positive change and lead society by example.
Adding vibrancy to the programme, a lively Zumba session was conducted to promote fitness and healthy living as effective alternatives to harmful habits. Students actively participated, making the event energetic and engaging while reinforcing the significance of physical wellness. The programme concluded with a collective pledge by all participants to stay away from drugs and inspire others to choose a path of health, responsibility, and positivity. The successful participation of the Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences reflected the institution’s continuous efforts, under the leadership of Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria and Mr. Mayankraj Singh Bhadoria, to nurture responsible, health-conscious, and socially aware future professionals committed to nation-building.
