
Educational Visit to District Court, Indore
The Index Institute of Law organized an enriching educational visit to the District Court, Indore on 18th March 2026, providing students with a valuable opportunity to experience the practical aspects of the legal system. A group of 30 law students actively participated in this visit, aiming to bridge the gap between theoretical legal studies and real-world courtroom practices. Such initiatives reflect the vision and encouragement of Chairman of Mayank Welfare Foundation, Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria, and Vice Chairman Mr. Mayankraj Singh Bhadoria, who continuously supports experiential learning for students.
The visit was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Dean Dr. Surendra Kumar Nirala, along with faculty members Mr. Bhisma Kumar Dehariya (Assistant Professor) and Ms. Khushi Narwani (Assistant Professor). Their mentorship ensured that students not only observed but also understood the nuances of court proceedings. During the visit, students witnessed live hearings, gaining insights into courtroom decorum, legal arguments, and judicial processes. Additionally, they had the privilege of interacting with Hon’ble Judges and Assistant District Public Prosecuting Officers (ADPOs), which further enhanced their understanding of the justice delivery system.
This educational visit proved to be a highly impactful learning experience, reinforcing the importance of practical exposure in legal education. By observing real-time court functioning, students developed a clearer perspective on how legal principles are applied in actual cases. Such hands-on experiences play a crucial role in shaping competent and confident legal professionals.
