The objective of research in Malwanchal University is to Nurture & Promote Research Activities of Global Standard. Motivation and creation of a conducive environment and facilities with varied platforms for students and faculties to engage into community centered inter-disciplinary research with significant socio-economical values.  Efforts are being made to strengthen research eco-system aligned with the provisions of NEP-2020, UGC and other official bodies.

University has applied research efforts to develop scientific knowledge with an emphasis on interdisciplinary research and engagement with wider research community.Fostering collaborations across Industry, Academia, national and International levels to encourage for synergistic partnership, Capacity building, innovations and strengthening implementation fidelity.  University encourages and facilitates in undertaking translational and developmental research for dissertation training, internships, Ph.D. thesis, short term and hands on training support and networking opportunities to students. University is aiming to perform research in diverse fields to emphasize on thrust areas of research and form clusters, frontline teams, consortia of research to disseminate research outcomes to stake holders and the public at large. Reserach involves cutting edge technologies in addition to conducting clinical trials for Pharma companies.It is  believed in serving as centre for ideation, and conceptualization of research topics/themes/programs by organizing brain storming sessions, workshops etc., ensuring the integrity and ethical practices in research activities.
