Malwanchal University Commemorates 77th Republic Day with Pride and Patriotism

Malwanchal University, in collaboration with the Index Group of Institutions, commemorated the 77th Republic Day of India with dignity, pride, and a deep sense of national responsibility. The celebration was held at the campus of Index Medical College, where the national flag was ceremoniously hoisted, symbolizing respect for the Constitution and democratic values of the nation. The tricolour was unfurled by the Chairman of the Index Group, Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria, in the esteemed presence of Khudel Police Station In-charge Karni Singh Shakhawat and the Honorable Vice Chancellor of Malwanchal University, Dr. Sanjeev Narang. The ceremony reflected the university’s commitment to nurturing constitutional awareness, unity, and national integrity among students and faculty members.

The Republic Day celebration was enriched by a series of inspiring cultural performances presented by students of various Index Group institutions. Students of Index Medical College delivered a compelling tribute to the Indian Armed Forces, portraying the courage, discipline, and sacrifices of the nation’s soldiers. A powerful stage play depicting the lives of martyred soldiers emotionally connected the audience to the spirit of patriotism and service. Patriotic songs and synchronized dance performances further elevated the atmosphere, creating a vibrant yet respectful celebration that honored the nation’s rich heritage and the values of freedom, sacrifice, and unity.

The event witnessed the gracious presence of senior university officials and academic leaders, including Registrar of Malwanchal University Dr. Lokeshwar, Index Group Director Shri R. S. Ranawat, Additional Director Dr. R. C. Yadav, Medical Superintendent Dr. Swati Prashant Singh, Dean of Index Institute of Dental Sciences Dr. Rosiah Kanaparti, Principal of the Ayurvedic College Dr. Prajakta Tomar, Principal of the Homeopathic College Dr. C. L. Yadav, and Dr. G. S. Patel. Faculty members and students participated in large numbers, making the celebration a collective expression of national pride.
