Malwanchal University Signs Historic MoU with S-VYASA University for Holistic Healthcare Advancement

Malwanchal University, Indore, has marked a significant milestone in the fields of higher education and healthcare by signing a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with S-VYASA University (Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana), Bengaluru. This strategic collaboration aims to promote holistic health solutions through Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Yoga, and Meditation, ensuring that lifestyle-based healthcare becomes accessible to every section of society. The partnership reflects the University’s commitment to integrating traditional Indian knowledge systems with modern research and clinical practice to address the growing burden of lifestyle-related diseases.

A five-member delegation from Malwanchal University visited Bengaluru for the formal signing ceremony. The delegation included Dr. Tapesh Kumar Dubey (Director – International Relations & Collaboration), Dr. Lily Ganju (Director – Research), Dr. Swati Prashant (Medical Superintendent), Dr. Reshma Khurana (Principal – Paramedical), and Dr. Prajakta Tomar (Principal – Ayurveda). Under this MoU, both institutions will collaborate in joint research projects, academic exchange programs, professional training, clinical practices, and wellness initiatives. The focus will be on providing comprehensive solutions for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, stress, obesity, and mental health challenges through integrative and preventive healthcare approaches.

Padma Shri Dr. H. R. Nagendra, Founder of S-VYASA and a globally respected yoga scholar, described the agreement as the beginning of a historic chapter dedicated to human welfare. He emphasized the transformative role of yoga, meditation, and holistic therapies in addressing modern health concerns. Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria, President of Mayank Welfare Foundation, called the partnership a benchmark initiative for Madhya Pradesh, highlighting that citizens will now have access to integrated wellness services under one platform. Mr. Mayank Raj Singh Bhadoria, Vice Chairman, further stated that the MoU will strengthen academic and research collaboration while establishing new standards in community health, preventive healthcare, and holistic lifestyle transformation across the region.
