Malwanchal University Hosts Inspiring Special Session “No Room for Small Dreams” by Dr. Dragan Primorac

Malwanchal University organized a special academic session titled “No Room for Small Dreams” on 13th April 2026 at the Auditorium Hall, Index Medical College. The session was delivered by internationally acclaimed expert in Personalized Medicine and Forensic DNA Science, Dr. Dragan Primorac (Former Minister of Science, Education and Sports, Republic of Croatia). The event aimed to inspire students and faculty members by providing global academic exposure and encouraging them to think beyond conventional boundaries. Addressing the audience, Dr. Primorac emphasized the importance of visionary thinking, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. Through his engaging address, he motivated participants to set ambitious goals and pursue innovation in education, research, and professional practice.

Dr. Dragan Primorac shared insights from his distinguished academic and professional journey. He holds an MD from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine and a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine, and has served as a postdoctoral fellow and instructor at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. A former Minister of Science, Education, and Sports of Croatia, he is globally recognized for his contributions to genetics, forensic science, and personalized medicine, with nearly 400 scientific publications to his credit. He has also been associated with prestigious institutions including Pennsylvania State University and the University of Split School of Medicine. During the session, he encouraged students to embrace interdisciplinary learning, remain curious, and continuously strive for innovation to address modern healthcare and scientific challenges.

The program was graced by the presence of distinguished dignitaries including Mayank Welfare Foundation Chairman Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria, Vice Chairman Mr. Mayankraj Singh Bhadoria, Vice Chancellor Dr. Sanjeev Narang, Registrar Dr. Lokeshwar Singh Jodhana, Dr. Rajesh Vyas, Mr. Anoop Agrawal, Dr. Sushil Jain, Dr. Rahul Hegde, Mr. Imran Salat, and Dr. H.B.S. Bhadoria. The session was attended by all Heads of Institutions, along with Dr. Reshma Khurana, Professor and Principal of Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences, faculty members, staff, and a large number of students.
