
Malwanchal University Hosts 5th Convocation Ceremony; 285 Medical Graduates Conferred Degrees
Malwanchal University successfully hosted its 5th Convocation Ceremony, marking a proud academic milestone and celebrating the achievements of 285 graduating medical students. The grand occasion brought together distinguished dignitaries, university leadership, faculty members, students, and their families in an atmosphere filled with pride, inspiration, and accomplishment. The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Abhijat C. Sheth, Chairman of the National Medical Commission (NMC). Notably, this marked the first time Dr. Sheth attended a convocation at a private medical institution, reflecting the growing reputation and academic excellence of Malwanchal University in the field of medical education. His presence highlighted the institution’s commitment to quality training and its expanding contribution to healthcare education in India.
The event was further elevated by the presence of Hon’ble Guest Dr. Dragan Primorac, an internationally acclaimed pediatrician, geneticist, and forensic expert, ranked among the top two percent of scientists globally. Widely recognized for his pioneering work in DNA analysis, molecular genetics, and personalized medicine, he has contributed extensively to global scientific advancements. A former Minister of Science, Education, and Sports of Croatia, his distinguished career, academic contributions, and global associations made his presence deeply inspiring for students and faculty alike. The ceremony was also attended by Rajesh Vyas, former US Foreign Service Medical Officer, adding further distinction to the event. Their collective presence underscored the global outlook and academic strength that Malwanchal University continues to foster.
The convocation witnessed the esteemed presence of university leadership, including Chairman of Mayank Welfare Foundation Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria, Vice Chairman Mayankraj Singh Bhadoria, Vice Chancellor Dr. Sanjeev Narang, Medical Director Dr. Pawan Bhambani, and Registrar Dr. Lokeshwar Singh Jodhana. During the ceremony, 285 medical graduates from undergraduate and postgraduate programs were conferred degrees, with 18 students receiving Gold Medals for outstanding academic performance. The event marked a transformative moment as graduates stepped forward to begin their professional journeys in healthcare.
